A Pirate's Romance

A Pirate's Romance is the story about Angel Lewis and Cole Singer who meet at the local tavern called The Rapture in Port, England. As they get to know each other, they found out that they are both pirates. The talk for a bit, even have a drinking contest and are very attracted to each other, but they have to leave son in fear that they would be found out by the Royal Navy. They leave their own separate ways and hope to meet again. By fate, they meet again, marry and have a girl who they name Sara Singer.
Sara Singer grows up with the stories of her parents’ adventures on the high seas and the treasure that Angel and Cole had hidden on a mysterious island that they combined when they married. As a child, Sara is teased. She realized that she didn’t fit in and had Cole teach her how to use a sword and talks about becoming a pirate herself.

While a group of boys were bullying her, a young man named Adam rescued her. They talk and become friends. Sara began to have a crush on him and he liked her. They spent the afternoons with Cole who taught Adam to use a sword. Sara and Adam grew close over the years and one day, Adam was going to propose to her, but his father had returned and wanted Adam to join him when he left. Adam was torn between being with Sara and to become a pirate as he had dreamed. In the end, eh left with his father, but swore he would come back and make Sara his.

As Sara grows up, she misses Adam. She spends time with her father keeping up with her sword skills and help Angel in the garden. One afternoon while they are working in the front yard, a young woman admires their work and asks if Sara would like to work in her flower shop. Sara agrees and the next morning she leaves her home and goes to work for Fran. Fran's husband Jerry makes advances toward her and in the end Fran banished her and Sara runs home to Cole who takes the law in his own hands and confronts Jerry. When he returns, Sara founds out that Angel has cancer and doesn't have long to live. Sara and Angel spend the next couple of months becoming closer and working in the garden that Angel loves. Soon, Angel passes away. Sara and Cole go one with their lives. Sara gets a job working at The Rapture tavern but is fired and looks for another job. Not finding any, she head home and meets with her father who has a heart attack and passes away.

She then is alone and takes a walk thru town deciding what to do next. She heads to a tavern looking for a job. While there, a man comes into the bar and tells a tale about a pirate about a pirate looking for a crew to sail. Sara upon hearing this buys some men's clothes and cuts her hair so that she looks like a boy. She then joins the crew and her dreams of becoming a pirate come true. Later, she is abused by the men, but during a battle, she finally meets Adam again and they sail into the sunset talking about how their lives had changed since they had last met. But, Adam is unwilling to let Sara continue piracy and sends her to a good friend of his. The man is William who married Adam and Cole.

William founds a job for Sara working for the Andrews. She worked as a cook and maid to the Andrew's daughters... During a ball, Sara meets a young man named Phillip. They go out and become friends over the years even thought Sara still has feeling for Adam. While fishing one day, Phillip asked Sara to marry him. Unsure, she agrees to marry him. While at the engagement party, gong, she meets Adam again who asked her to come with him. He said he loved her and wanted to spend the rest of lives together.

Sara, because she still loved Adam and wanted to become a pirate again, leaves the party and join Adam on his ship and they sail away together. But the adventure doesn’t end there. They go in search of Angel Lewis and Cole Singer's treasure.
